In-Person DMI Introductory Level A Course

Course Description

This immersive in-person course introduces participants to Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) at the Introductory Level A. Therapists will learn 35 structured exercises with progressions and alternate holds tailored to children with diverse gross motor developmental needs.

The course begins with a deep dive into neuroplasticity, theoretical foundations, and DMI’s tenets of practice. Participants will:

  • Perform dexterity tests to enhance eye-hand coordination
  • Learn and practice each exercise with instructor feedback
  • Engage in treatment planning and hands-on sessions with demo children
  • Receive real-time corrections, suggestions, and progressions

By the end of the course, each participant will be equipped to plan and execute a full DMI treatment session.
